Copper Bussmann's CUBEFuse offers safety and convenience packed into a small footprint. CUBEFuse may be small, but has alot to offer. The Copper Bussmann CUBEFuse module is the world's first finger safe industrial power fuse. The CUBEFuse footprint is the smallest of any power class fuse on the market. The CUBEFuse module meets Class J time-delay electrical performance for Ul/CSA. The CUBEFuse base dovetail feature allows 30A, 60A and 100A fuse bases to be ganged together. The CUBEFuse module features easyID technology ---a permanent replacement fuse indicator that assists in identifying an open fuse.

Lamb Industries' PP1 and PP2-Series Push/Pull Switch
March 2008, Portland, OR – Lamb Industries, Inc is pleased to announce the unique PP1 and PP2 Series. These switches are unique because they have push and pull capable actuators and can be specified for the unique ON2-ON1-(ON2) function. This function is a standard crossover function with an option of either a momentary action when the actuator is pushed or a maintained action when the actuator is pulled. The PP1 and PP2 Series are UL approved at 16A 125VAC, 12A 250VAC, and 1hp 125/250VAC. The PP1 is designed to snap into a panel with a 13.2mm x 28mm mounting hole and the PP2 into a 13.5mm x 36mm mounting hole. Both versions have several different standard terminal sizes and actuator shapes. The PP1 and PP2 Series switches can be used in various appliance related functions such as heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration applications. Lamb Industries' ME7 Series Pressure Switch
January 24, 2008, Portland, OR – Lamb Industries, Inc is pleased to announce the ME7 Series; a new item for our line of pressure switches. The ME7-series is a small and economical pressure switch for use in commercial applications. This series features two pressure ports making it useful for differential, vacuum and positive gage pressure applications up to 1600mbar and has almost no hysteresis. The ME7-series can be calibrated from -600mbar to -15mbar for vacuum applications and 200mbar to 1600mbar for pressure applications and is currently available with either 4.0mm tube and M10 threaded pressure ports. Electrically the ME7 is capable of 2.5A 250V and is available with 6.3mm and 4.8mm tab terminals. Marathon's IEC Enclosed Power Blocks
MARATHON SPECIAL PRODUCTS ANNOUNCES A NEW IEC ENCLOSED POWER BLOCK LINE.......Bowling Green, OH – Marathon Special Products (MSP), a Subsidiary of Marathon Electric Manufacturing Corporation, recently introduced a new International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) European-style Enclosed Power Block line. The IEC Power Block offers unique features including oversized wire openings to accept stranded wire and provide ease of wire insertion. The wire openings are approved and rated for multiple wire combinations. This allows the IEC Enclosed Power Block to be used in a variety of applications such as HVAC, material handling equipment, automation controls, motor control and switchgear. Designed with cost savings and flexibility for the customer, the IEC Power Block can be mounted on DIN rails or panel mounted. According to Bruce Golen, Project Engineer, Marathon Special Products, "We designed this product line to meet the customers needs. Our customers are looking for safe products, the option to use larger diameter flexible wire, and easier mounting with interlocking capabilities. The industry is changing to European standards for safety where products are covered in such a manner that a person can not touch the electrical connector with their fingers. We are eager to supply our customers with the benefits of the IEC Power Block." The new blocks are molded in gray thermoplastic like most European industrial electrical products and feature dual dovetail sides for ganging multiple poles. Aluminum and copper connectors are available in all four models. IEC Enclosed Power Blocks combine proven wire termination methods with the safety of European touch-proof design, reducing the chance of maintenance personnel getting electrocuted.
